In addition to the stated admissions requirements, all international students must be able to read, write and communicate in English. Students who do not have English as their first language must take the TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language). International students, including those from the US, are advised to make early contact with the Admissions Department at the Canadian Extension campus. - $20 Application fee
- Two Pictures (can be mailed or e-mailed)
- Final official high school transcripts or college transcripts translated into English with grade key
- TOEFL score – minimum 500 on paper-based exam or 170 on computer-based test (School code: 3955)
- Copy of passport ID page
- Provide proof of health insurance for the time you will be a student.
- Submit funds to be held on deposit for tuition, room and board, and return transportation. Additionally, provide evidence of sufficient funds or financial support to pay incidental expenses.
- Obtain a Study Permit from the Canadian Consulate. A US citizen may obtain a Study Permit at the port of entry, but check with the port of entry to determine the hours when immigration offices are open. See the Canadian government's website at www.cic.gc.ca for up-to-date details. An applicant will need to provide the Canadian government with the following:
- An acceptance letter from the Bible Institute's Canadian Extension
- Proof of health insurance
- Evidence of sufficient funds or financial support to pay for the year at the Bible Institute which may be a letter from the Bible Institute that the funds are already on deposit.
- We cannot guarantee financial support or scholarships for international students.
*Please note: International students should contact the Admissions Office early in the year to allow enough time for all materials to be collected and legal documents to be mailed to the student.
