I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called. Ephesians 4:1

Being worthy is defined as doing things to the fullest extent of your ability. Throughout this year we have realized that doing things to the fullest extent involves a lot of work, sometimes several tries and always help from God.

We will take many things away with us from this year as we have done so much and learned so many things. Word of Life has helped us to grow and learn things that will help us to walk worthy. Being ministry focused, we all were given the chance to get experience that we could apply in our lives. We were challenged during the week of Open Air Evangelism and had the opportunity to use these skills in the surrounding communities. With different ministries like Local Church Ministry, singing teams, children's ministry and on-campus ministry, we all got to experience different parts of ministry and see exactly what it takes. Also, we have seen relationships grow that will help us through life, friends that have grown with us and struggled with us, friends that will help us to continue to grow and keep us accountable in our walk. We were also able to develop relationships with the staff Word of Life Class of 2008who were serving us all year, helping us to grow closer to God and realize our calling. Each of us got something different out of our year here at the Bible Institute and hopefully we will all take those things and apply them, allowing them to enhance our ability to walk worthy of the calling to which God has called us. If I could leave you with one things it would be this: when you come to that often-heard-of crossroads in life, do not choose the path least taken! Go instead where there is no path, away from where the world would lead you and leave a trail, allowing God to guide you and encouraging others to follow. Take the challenges of this year, the things you have learned and the things you have overcome and let them help you in your journey. I hope that we can all finish this year confident that we are serving God to the fullest of our ability, because that is how we can be sure that we are walking worthy.
