Join us on our summer staff in 2010! Summer Ministry Training (SMT) is an intense program designed not only to get you involved in summer camping ministry, but to challenge you in your personal walk with Christ. Join other high school teens as they get involved in ministry at Word of Life Youth Camp. Through personal discipleship with a Word of Life student and biblical training in a youth group/camp setting you will grow in your knowledge of the Bible, and be challenged to grow in Christ. SMT (Summer Ministry Trainees) are an integral part of our youth camping program. Whether you are working in the kitchen, doing a maintenance project, running paintball, housekeeping, or helping organize an activity, you will be directly involved with kids & teens at summer camp, make new friends, gain missionary experience as you raise summer support and have lots of fun at the same time. Join our team this summer from June 27th - Aug 21st and get involved in camp ministry! If you feel like this might challenge & excite you, go ahead and complete our SMT Application. Also, please check out financial information here for applicable scholarships to the Bible Institute after completion of our SMT program. SMT testimony: "My time on SMT was amazing! Between getting to meet and live with a bunch of teens for a whole summer, deep Bible studies, one on one accountability, building incredible and lasting relationships, games on and off campus with the SMTs, extra activities, I experienced one summer that changed me. It was a summer that was not a waste. It felt like one big family and the unity was amazing! I'm not saying the whole summer was without complications, but looking back and reflecting, I've learned from those experiences. God has taught me so much. Interacting with the Bible Institute students I was able to hear first hand how a year at the BI would be a great experience. Hearing from the students has influenced my choice on where I'll be spending my first year of college. I'm planning on attending WOLBI this coming fall. And I'm looking forward to it!" --smt summer 09
