February LCM Update

THE GAME!

That’s right- we are headed into that time of year where all eyes are on the NFL Superbowl.  As a matter of fact, I am one of those fans who love this grand event including all the hype that goes into the commercials.
But, the events or opportunities that bring me greater excitement are the opportunities to participate in leadership training.  In the last few weeks we have had three checkpoint conferences that allowed us to minister and encourage leaders in local churches in Ontario and New Brunswick.  Many of the leaders were very kind in expressing to us how much the conferences ministered to their hearts.
The NFL Superbowl will come and go and, through time, the memory of who was the winner or loser will fade.  But the opportunity to impact leaders at the local church level is absolutely limitless because those leaders will then go on to minister to their teens.  Now that is something that will never fade, both in excitement or impact.
