Recharge Weekend 4- You'll never guess what happened this weekend!

We're more than half way through our 'Recharge' winter camping season - only three weekends more to go!  We have been privileged to see God work in amazing ways over the course of the past four weekends.  This past weekend four churches joined us - one of them for the first time.  It was awesome to see teens make decisions all throughout the weekend.  Praise the Lord for being involved in His work!

'Recharge' is all about life-change...it's about confronting teens with the reality of God's Word and brining them to a point of decision in an area of their lives.  Every weekend takes on it's own identity as the teens/youth groups come from different walks of life and different stages of spiritual growth.  For some kids their need is to accept Christ as Saviour.  For others, they need to begin to take seriously their relationship with Christ.

Our guest speaker for the weekend was the Dean of Men and Professor at New Brunswick Bible Institute, Matt Little.  Matt shared from the life of Moses on Friday/Saturday night about the need to reject what this world says is important in order to fulfill God's best for your life.  Matt's messages from the Scriptures certainly made an impact on the kids.  To read more about the ministry of New Brunswick Bible Institute, click here.

This weekend we saw at least 3 students accept Christ, many young men stood to say they would live a life of purity, and EVERY STUDENT BUT ONE stood in front of their peers to say they would live a life of commitment to Christ.  Praise the Lord!

With only three more weekends of 'Recharge' left, the students are really starting to feel the effects of intensive ministry along with their school work.  It's allowed for some great reminders to trust in the Lord and HIS strength.

• Pray for our upcoming speaker, Kyle Gray, and his ministry in the Word.

Pray for the teens coming, that there would be no 'distractions' that prohibit their arrival on Friday
