Team Coordinator
St. Jacobs, Ontario
I grew up in a Christian home where my parents loved the Lord and when it was time to go to school put me into a Christian school. It was there in kindergarten where I heard that Jesus Christ loved me and died for my sins, rising again so that I could have a relationship with him. Throughout high school I was very involved in my church but at school never shared my faith with my friends. After high school I decided to take one year and study at the Word of Life Bible Institute in Owen Sound. That year changed my life. I had never been in the Word so consistently before that year.
After my first year at Word of Life I had the opportunity to travel with Resonate in 2009/10. That was a great year of ministry for me. This past year I went to Schroon Lake, New York to continue my studies in the 2nd year program with the Word of Life Bible Institute. God has given me a passion for ministry and for the country of Canada and I am so glad for the opportunity to be the Resonate Coordinator this year.

Hey I'm Evan! I live near Simcoe Ontario in the good old country. I understood at a young age that I was a sinner and deserved to go to hell. At the age of 3 I accepted Christ as my personal Lord and Saviour. I grew up in a Christian family and was home schooled all the way to grade 11. My parents' faith had a big impact on my life to live like Christ but as I got older I realized that I was living off of their faith. This became more evident throughout my two years of high school, as I rarely stood up for my faith.
I knew I needed to get serious with God so I decided to come to Word of Life for the year of 2010/2011. That year was definitely one of the best of my life. God's Word does amazing things! I learned that year to make my faith my own and how the only thing that can change me is God's unfailing Word. My plans after Resonate are to continue on to second year in NY and then finish my credits at another Bible School so I can become a youth pastor.

My name is Christopher Lyle Plog, I was born in Texas when my dad was in seminary. My dad entered the pastorate, so I have traveled around to a few states, but this is my first year in Canada. I have attended the first and second year at the Word of Life Bible institute, studying and applying the Word of God. At Word of Life God became real to me and I really began to grow in him. Now I am excited to be on Resonate, and am looking forward to seeing what God has in store for me.

I am so thankful that I was brought up in a home where I was taught the truths of God’s Word. Around the age of 5 through asking my Mom questions about Christ Jesus, I realized that I needed Christ as my Saviour. Near the end of high school I made my relationship with God more serious, dedicating my life to Him. I wanted to spend a year studying God’s Word, to learn more about Him and grow in my relationship with Him. So I came to study at the Word of Life Bible Institute in Owen Sound for a year, and, wow God’s Word transforms lives! Currently I am counseling and having the opportunity to take what I have learned from God’s Word and apply it as well as see His Word change the lives of children. I am so excited for Resonate this next year, and for the ministry opportunities it will bring.

I was not born into a Christian family, and my parents separated when i was about 2 years old. Soon after, my mom and sister both got saved, so from then on I grew up going to church and being raised by good Christian morals. When I was 12 my dad got saved and my parents got back together! Also around this time I realized that I had not been saved growing up and that I could only be saved by faith in Jesus Christ. When I graduated high school God led me to make the decision to come to the Word of Life Bible Institute, and being in Gods Word every day gave me a completely new outlook on life, and a solid foundation in my faith. Right now I'm counseling at our camp in Owen Sound, and I'm excited to be part of Resonate this year! I’m excited to trust in God and see what He has in store!

Being raised in a Christian home and attending my local church and Christian school while growing up, I was exposed to the Gospel and decided to accept it at around the age of five. It was not until later in my life that I really took my relationship with Christ seriously and dedicated my life completely to Him. After graduating high school, God changed the plans I had and brought me to the Word of Life Bible Institute! The year spent here has been so amazing with growing in my walk with Christ from being in His Word hours a day, and developing a solid foundation for the rest of my life. Currently I am counseling at Word of Life Youth Camp and it is so amazing to be right in the middle of this ministry and to see God work each and every day here. I am SO excited to be part of Resonate this coming year and eagerly await what God will do with this year and this team!!
