Samuel & Kayla Stewart

Samuel was born in a Christian home and came to know Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Saviour at the age of 5. From an early age, Samuel demonstrated a desire to serve God and to make Him known to others. He was always eager to get involved at church with audio/visual, Sunday School, and praise team. He also had a passion for reaching youth: he worked with an after-school Bible club, a church basketball league, and spent his high school summers counselling youth at summer camp.

After high school, Samuel attended Word of Life Bible Institute in Owen Sound as a student. The following year, he completed an internship with the Bible Institute, working with student ministries. In June 2017, he was accepted as a full time missionary with Word of Life Canada and currently serves as Dean of Ministry. His roles include overseeing Open Air Evangelism, student ministry teams, Recharge, and Summer Camp. Samuel assists in teaching Evangelism, the Gospel of Matthew, Hermeneutics: Bible Study Methods, and Greek. He received a BA in Bible and a Master of Divinity at Carolina University, Piedmont Divinity School. Samuel and Kayla were married June 29, 2019 and together strive to impact the lives of young people for Christ!
