DESCRIPTION
We are thrilled to welcome you to our Mother-Daughter
Retreat! This special weekend will focus on the powerful
truths that you are seen, heard, known, and deeply loved by
God. Together, mothers and daughters will be encouraged to
grow in their faith and take meaningful next steps in their
relationship with Him. In addition to our sessions, you’ll have
time to explore the beautiful Word of Life campus and enjoy
a variety of fun and memorable activities.

WOLBI Worship
Our very own Word of Life staff and alumni have been preparing to lead us in worship. They have the desire to use their musical abilities to cultivate praise and point others to Jesus.
TEACHING Topic
1. Lovingly Seen
You are seen by God even in your darkest moments
2. Compassionately Heard
You are heard by God and are never alone
3. Tenderly Known
You are known and loved by God more than you know.
4. Split Session
During this session, mothers and daughters can submit questions that may be
difficult to discuss with each other. Kelly and Bethany will help guide you in starting those conversations and create a safe space to discuss them together.
Together, the mother-daughter pair, Kelly and Bethany, will walk
through the lives of Hagar, Esther, and the Woman at the Well as we
explore what it means to be seen, heard, known, and loved by God.
SPEAKERS
Kelly Lemont
Kelly lives in Markdale, Ontario, with her husband Peter and two of
their nine children. She has studied Biblical Counselling, starting at
LBBC, then with certification through the Association of Biblical
Counsellors, and as a Christian Trauma Care Provider, along with
working through the National Center for Biblical Parenting. She is
currently working on a Master of Arts in Counselling.
Bethany Lemont
Bethany is a graduate of Word of Life Bible Institute and has been on
staff for four years. She has her certificate in Biblical counselling from
CCEF and leads the Word of Life Vibrant team in local Church ministry.
She is passionate about youth ministry and discipling the next
generation of women in the Church.
